The Role - 1:1 Behaviour Mentor:
I am working with a SEN School based in Bromley that is looking for a new 1:1 Behaviour Mentor to join their team! In this role, you will be working 1:1 with a Year 7 student with Social, Emotional Mental Health. You must be an approachable, confident, and efficient person with the ability to build strong relationships with staff and students. As a 1:1 Behaviour Mentor, you will be required to assist the student in and out of the class and must use de-escalation techniques to manage their behaviour. To be considered for this role, you must have experience working with challenging behaviour and secondary school-aged students.
The School - SEN School:
This SEMH school is based in Bromley and caters for students aged 11 - 16 years old. The school's focus is on developing core skills of literacy and numeracy while offering a broad range of other curriculum areas to provide real interest for their pupils. They have been awarded an overall effectiveness grade of Good, with Leadership and Management being graded as Outstanding by Ofsted. The school has great transport links and many local bus routes.
