Complex Care Support Worker

Pay Rate:£11.44 per hour
Social Care & Education are looking for a Complex Care Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Bath. This role is ideal for someone looking for a new role and has experience working with people with a spinal cord injury.
About the Role:
In this role, you’ll provide one-to-one care and support for a client with specific and complex health needs. Working Monday through Saturday, you’ll have the opportunity to build a trusting, supportive relationship and ensure the client’s safety, dignity is maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with personal care needs, including bowel management.
• Provide support with mobility, transfers, and physical activity to enhance the client’s independence.
• Build a strong, positive relationship with the client to provide companionship and emotional care, improving their overall well-being.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of daily care and any health changes, communicating effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.
Essential Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience in complex care, specifically with spinal cord injuries and bowel management, is essential for this role.
• A full UK driving licence is required, along with comfort and confidence in driving an automatic vehicle.
• Reliable, compassionate, and attentive, with a strong commitment to delivering personalized and high-quality care.
• Strong communication abilities, enabling clear and supportive interactions with the client, family, and medical professionals.
• Comfortable working autonomously to meet the client’s care needs consistently and professionally.
