Repairs and Maintenance Coordinator
Full Time – 40- Hours Per Week Including Weekends Required for Emergency Repairs & Maintenance

Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and reliable individual with experience in building merchants, plumbing or electrical sectors to join our Repairs and Maintenance team. In this role, you will assist in coordinating contractors and sourcing materials to support repairs and development projects across our garden centres.
Key responsibilities:
• Collaborate with repairs and development team to ensure projects are delivered on time within a budget.
• Source and procure materials required for ongoing repairs and development work.
• Coordinate with contractors, ensuring they meet quality and compliance standards.
• Maintain clear communication with garden centre teams to address site specific needs.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate competitive pricing for materials.
• Carry out and document checks to maintain compliance standards
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed and records are kept accurate and up to date.
Qualifications and skills:
• Strong organisation and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Familiarity with procurement processes and contractor management
• Proven experience working in building merchants, plumbing or electrical industries (preferred).
• Knowledge and understanding of H&S regulations and compliance procedures (desirable) (training provided)
• Problem-solving mind-set and use one’s initiative
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office SUITE (Word, Excel, Outlook).
