Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and creative Marketing and Communications Associate to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our strategic objectives, driving engagement, and evolving our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy and Campaigns:
* Develop and execute marketing campaigns to support business objectives, including brand awareness, lead generation and client engagement.
* Collaborate internally to create sector-specific marketing strategies and materials for business development and talent attraction purposes.
* Track, measure, and analyse the effectiveness of campaigns through the measurement of key metrics, adjusting strategies as needed.
Content Creation:
* Develop compelling content for various channels, including website, social media, press releases, and newsletters, always ensuring input and approvals from key stakeholders when appropriate.
* Ensure all content aligns with our brand tone, voice, and messaging.
* Work with key stakeholders to produce high-quality marketing assets.
Digital and Social Media Management:
* Manage and grow the company’s online presence across social media platforms.
* Plan and schedule posts, engage with audiences, and monitor performance metrics.
* Optimise digital marketing efforts, including SEO, email marketing, and PPC campaigns.
Project Work:
* Undertake project work as required, contributing to strategic initiatives across marketing, communications, and brand development.
* Support the evolution of our brand to align with business goals and market trends.
* Assist in the implementation of new strategies and the rollout of brand-related initiatives.
Events and PR:
* Coordinate and promote events, including industry exhibitions, webinars, and customer-focused initiatives.
* Manage media relations and enquiries to build and maintain the company’s reputation.
Internal Communications:
* Support internal communications to foster team alignment and engagement.
* Create and manage engaging updates for the WGPT both for team meetings and SharePoint.

Preferred Candidate Profile:
* Experience: 2+ years in a marketing, communications, or similar role, preferably in a technology or engineering environment
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in digital marketing tools, including social media platforms, email marketing software, and analytics tools
* Event planning and management experience
