Main Duties of the Job
To provide a medical device distribution, collection, cleaning and minor maintenance service.
Visiting all clinical areas on the Aintree site to collect or distribute medical devices where and when needed. This will require a basic level knowledge of a hospital environment, utilising good communication and organisational skills. Completing administrative duties in relation to the role will also require competent computer literacy skills.

Job Responsibilities
1. The collection and distribution of electronic and mechanical medical equipment, as required.
2. The ordering, receipt, preparation and distribution of consumable stock.
3. Computer registration of equipment/consumable issues and collections.
4. The cleaning, recharging of batteries and testing of equipment upon return from users.
5. Minor maintenance works not normally undertaken within the remit of Medical Engineering.
