Purpose of the role A great opportunity for someone who loves multi-tasking and organising to take on this exciting role right at the centre of Junction 42. You will need to have excellent administration and communication skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Director. Duties and tasks Support the director with written communications including dictation Working directly with the Director, supporting the organising of diary, travel, meeting arrangements and all other associated arrangements and communications Prepare and compile reports, presentations and correspondence. With the ability to proofread and summarise information from a range of sources Organising meetings and collating the management data needed for them Attending internal and external meetings with the Director to act as minute taker, circulating minutes and actions to all parties following meetings Liaising on behalf of the Director Screening enquiries and requests via phone, email and post, handling them when appropriate. Assist with personal commitments Essential Skills and Abilities Previous experience in an administrative role A good eye for detail Highly organised with the ability to multitask Ability to manage self, including balancing conflicting priorities and prioritising own workload on a daily basis Excellent verbal communication skills Excellent written communication skills, including excellent grammar and punctuation Excellent capabilities in using of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Fast typing speed and ability to type documents and emails that are verbally dictated Person Specification Sympathises with the Christian ethos and mission of Junction 42.
