My client is disrupting the pet food industry, offering high-quality, ethically sourced, and nutrition- meals for pets. With a strong DTC business and ambitious retail expansion plans, they are quickly becoming one of the most loved and trusted pet food brands in the UK.
About the Role
As the Customer Supply Chain Manager, youâll work closely with the Head of Retail to manage demand planning, inventory positioning, and stock availability across retail partners. Youâll play a key role in ensuring accurate forecasting and replenishment planning, working closely with both internal teams and external retailers to optimise sales performance.
Key responsibilities:
* Own the Collaborative Planning, Forecasting & Replenishment process with key retail partners
* Analyse and align sales forecasts between the business and retail partners
* Identify and resolve stock gaps, ensuring optimal inventory levels and store availability
* Monitor demand trends and adjust forecasts accordingly
* Attend key supply chain meetings with retailers, providing insights and recommendations
* Work cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to improve demand planning processes
* Provide key business reporting on base and promotional volume movements
The Successful Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 2+ years of experience in a similar customer focused demand planning / supply chain role
* FMCG experience (either with a recognised supplier or grocery retailer)
* Understanding of retailer logistics, supply systems, and processes
* Strong analytical skills and ability to work with data to drive decision-making
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally
* A passion for animals and an interest in working for a fast-growing, mission-led brand
