Compliance Specialist - Hybrid 12 months fixed term We have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Specialist to join the team in Leicester on a 12 month fixed term contract. The role will ensure licensing operations are adhering to business policies and procedures by conducting internal audits and revenue assurance activities such as invoice compliancy/accuracy checks. You will work closely with the Complaints Team to identify failures in processes, where improvements can be made and advise Senior Management of the possible risks associated with current policies and processes being followed. You will provide innovative Tariff & Licensing guidance and support across the business, liaising with parents to ensure correct licensing, maximising revenue and reducing licensing errors. You will work with the Learning and Development Team once training needs have been established and internal and external auditors, providing accurate and relevant information where necessary. You will: Investigate Tariff queries and complaints to provide responses in a timely manner, liaising with key stakeholders when applicable Observe, investigate and evaluate performance and development to establish training needs Support departments across the business to ensure effective and accurate licensing, in line with tariffs, policies and procedures Develop and review company policies in conjunction with licensing teams and HR. Advise management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports. Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations. Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks. Assess company operations to determine compliance risk. Liaise with auditors, and provide accurate information in relation to outputs or queries. Develop and maintain audit action log for licensing functions Liaise with customers regarding audit findings and assist with the negotiation of settlement agreements. You will be: Effective at delivering presentations and summaries Possess proficient knowledge of PPL PRS Tariffs Have proficient knowledge of PPL PRS Processes Experienced with working with Key Stakeholders and Project Managers to deliver to deadlines Good working knowledge of Excel, Word & PowerPoint Able to manage multiple projects at one time Experienced in investigating, gathering data, analysing findings and reporting accordingly Able to plan and organise self and others Able to engage effectively with all levels of Management Experience of business sectors & processes Experienced in commercial negotiation PPL PRS is an equal opportunities employer.
