The Role: Deliver engaging and hands-on Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on your specialism and experience. Foster a love of design and technology in students, encouraging them to explore a variety of materials, techniques, and technologies. Create a dynamic and collaborative workshop environment where students feel safe to experiment, innovate, and develop their design and making skills. Contribute to the development and implementation of an innovative DT curriculum that reflects current trends and best practices. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their design and technological development. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Design & Technology. A proven track record of successful teaching and learning outcomes in DT. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners. A passion for Design & Technology and a commitment to fostering creativity and innovation in young people.
