I am looking for a Children’s Senior Support Worker to assist with managing this stunning brand new 3x bedded EBD home that aims to make a vital difference to the lives of children & young people who have suffered Trauma & Abuse.

It is incredibly important you have a passion for helping young people, & an understanding of the issues they face due to their past experiences. You should also have the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with the young people in your care.
This fantastic service is based in Northampton (NN5)
This company offers placements to young people aged between 11-17. They have successfully worked with the young people to rebuild trust & relationships in all of their established homes and would like to continue this fantastic work. Currently all these other 9x established homes are rated Outstanding or Good with Ofsted.
Key details about the client:
* 3x bedded EBD & CSE home
* New home
* 10x shifts per month (08:00-22:00 + sleep)
* 1 on 2 off pattern
* Good 'Ofsted' rating
* The staff are extensively trained, highly motivated and committed in achieving the best possible outcomes for the young people
* You will be guided by managers whose primary focus is the welfare of the young people
* Working closely with professionals from partner agencies such as CAMHS
* Fully qualified counselling psychologist with over 10 years’ experience works with the children and young people

The successful applicant must have:
* A proven track record of working with young people in a residential setting
* The ability to motivate and inspire young people to reach their goals
* Experience of planning and conducting social activities
* Knowledge of safeguarding and reporting procedures
* A compassionate and understanding attitude
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to build & maintain strong relationships with young people
* Ability to manage expenditure & financial systems
* Experience of working with children & young people who have suffered abuse
* The aptitude to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
* Resilience and a positive outlook
* A good level of IT literacy
* Organisational & problem-solving skills
