Ivy Care is a specialist care provider supporting people with learning disabilities and complex needs within residential settings. We are recruiting for a Registered Manager role in the Barnsley area overseeing two homes on one site where we provide support for twenty people.
Our aim is to enable people with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible by receiving the care and support consistent with their individual needs whilst using a progressive approach to their development and independence.

Your key responsibilities:
1. Lead the service in delivering the best standard of care for the people we support.
2. Ensure the service is fully compliant with CQC regulations as well as our own internal standards.
3. Build, develop and maintain positive relationships with commissioners, families, authorities, and other external stakeholders.
4. Lead your staff team to develop and ensure they deliver the highest level of support and care.
What we need from you:
1. To be a great visible and enthusiastic leader of people.
2. Previous experience at Registered Manager level or higher in adult social care is essential.
3. Minimum NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
4. Experience of working with people with complex needs, learning disabilities, and autism.
5. Understanding of the Mental Capacity Act, DOLS, Safeguarding, and CQC regulations.
6. Time management and organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and projects.
7. Share in Ivy Care’s vision to empower individuals to achieve their goals, dreams, and aspirations.
8. Leading a team of 60+ staff with support from two Assistant Managers and central support functions.
9. The ability to have input into the policies and procedures in the organisation.
