Monitor the collection of clinical information using multiple data sources ranging from existing hospital systems, multi-disciplinary discussion documentation and external hospital notifications and systems. This will involve acknowledging and adhering to set deadlines and validation methods to ensure accurate reporting. To assist in the process of routinely validating the data held within the SCR system, working pro-actively with healthcare professionals, Cancer Pathway Navigators and MDT/Pathway Co-ordinators to address and resolve data quality issues. This includes liaising with clinicians and other administrative and managerial staff to support quality reviews and to provide feedback, where required, to relevant groups. Support the development and implementation of an effective quality improvement framework to assist in the quality assessment process across all cancer tumour sites. To include supporting the design, implementation and collation of quality assessment processes throughout the year. Support the quality manager and data quality team in delivering quality reviews through localised knowledge and intelligence of the operational environment in which services are delivered. To maintain knowledge of national data quality requirements to assist in the delivery of projects Resolve issues efficiently to assist in the timely and accurate capture of data for use in financial, other corporate and clinical initiative performance reporting. To answer queries and assist in the production of requests, utilizing specific clinical knowledge of the data available whilst at all times being aware of maintaining data protection standards in relation to all internal or external requests. To produce and maintain detailed procedure/policy notes that represent the basic day-to-day tasks involved in completing the designated workload.
