As an Assistant Scheme Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing The Croft scheme which contains 75 properties, supporting our customers to live the life they choose to live, whilst providing a localised and dedicated service with an added personal touch. Further key responsibilities are listed below:
• Manage the scheme in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring that a safe, secure, well-kept and pleasant environment is maintained.
• Oversee the welfare of our residents that will enable them to live independently, whilst also providing a calm and attentive response in the event of an emergency.
• Take on the management of service delivery, with particular attention to housing management and maintenance issues.
• Engaging residents and developing a tight knit community spirit through the facilitation of regular social events and activities.
• Promote good communication between residents and their families, Longhurst Group and our approved service providers.
Our Assistant Scheme Manager position is a based on-site at The Croft contracted to 10 hours per week, Tuesday (2pm to 4pm) and Wednesday (9am to 5pm). The Croft scheme is attractively landscaped and is conveniently situated for travel to Bourne town centre. Close to various local amenities, the scheme is also well served by local public transport, with a bus-stop close by.
To be successful in application for our Assistant Scheme Manager position, you’ll have a customer focused background with the ability to engage residents whilst holding basic digital skills (Microsoft Office, etc). You will need to have a full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle.
