We are delighted to offer you the opportunity to join our Neuro team as Senior Theatre Scrub Practitioner.
This exciting opportunity will allow you to provide clinical leadership in Neuro Scrub, supporting the team manager whilst ensuring patient's needs are met whilst delivering the highest quality care.
As a Major Trauma Centre, we have been equipped with state-of-the-art facilities in preparation for the expansion in our theatre service. We are also looking for a team member who will be capable of making informed clinical decisions, often in complex situations.
You will need to be particularly committed to the key role of educating, empowering, and supporting people in the theatre environment, showing excellent leadership and people management skills.
Main duties of the job
* Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practice.
* Ensure that essential information on the patient's condition and progress is recorded by self and team members appropriately according to NMC guidelines.
* Maintain accurate records of resource use.
* Support patients/carers encouraging them to promote their own health and wellbeing and to express their interests and concerns.
* Actively support the Team Leader to ensure the effective running of the department in their absence.
