This Clinical Coordinator will be responsible for:
1. Collaborating with the Nurse Director, Co-Clinical Coordinator, and other interdisciplinary leaders to develop, recommend, and implement internal standards, policies, and procedures to improve quality and cost-effectiveness of patient care.
2. Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team to ensure quality patient care and a positive work environment.
3. Providing coaching, feedback, and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance staff skills and career growth.
4. Creating an inclusive, collaborative, and supportive team culture that promotes engagement, accountability, and continuous learning.
5. Overseeing daily clinical and administrative operations, including staff scheduling, resource allocation, and facilitating coordination of care/service.
6. Overseeing perioperative areas including prep/recovery, liaison program, and 12 bed Observation unit (Mandell 3).
7. Managing and evaluating 30+ staff.
To qualify, you must have:
1. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN).
2. A minimum of 4 years of PACU/Periop experience.
3. Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
4. Effective communication skills.
