Position: Regional Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Financial Controller to oversee the financial accounting, reporting, and compliance functions of our group of companies within the Lift Installations, Modernisation, and Service industry in the UK. Scope of the Role
As a Regional Financial Controller, you will manage comprehensive accounting, reporting, and compliance functions for multiple entities. This role requires in-depth knowledge of complex financial structures, regulatory standards, and hands-on expertise in project accounting, revenue recognition, and contract evaluation.
Basic Qualifications:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
* Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably within the Lift Installation, Modernisation, Manufacturing, or Construction industry
* Advanced proficiency in UK GAAP, IFRS (including IFRS 15 and IFRS 16), and CIS tax regulations
* Proven experience in financial reporting, statutory accounts, and compliance
* Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Accounting and Reporting: Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
* Revenue and Lease Accounting: Ensure compliance with IFRS 15 for revenue recognition on long-term contracts and IFRS 16 for lease reporting.
* Entity Consolidation: Consolidate accounts across multiple entities, reconciling all inter-company transactions.
* Compliance Management: Oversee payroll, VAT, CIS, and transfer pricing compliance to meet regulatory standards.
* Treasury and Cash Flow Management: Manage banking relationships, foreign exchange, cash flow forecasting, and optimize working capital.
* Audit and Risk Management: Coordinate with external auditors and develop robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
* Policy Implementation: Develop and standardize financial policies and procedures across all entities.
* Training and Development: Train and support the finance team in new regulations and changes in financial policies.
