Information Governance Assistant
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Do you have an interest in data protection and safeguarding personal information?
As our Information Governance Assistant, you will work under the guidance of the Information Governance Manager and play a key role in ensuring that the Group meets its legal obligations in the areas of Data Protection and Freedom of Information. You will support the Information Governance Manager in driving forward the College Data Protection compliance project and raising awareness of Data Protection throughout the Group.
As our Information Governance Assistant, you will have a general understanding of Data Protection, familiarity with Freedom of Information, a meticulous approach to record keeping and will be expected to quickly develop your knowledge in these areas so you can form the key contact point for daily queries, requests and incidents.
You will have a recognised qualification in data privacy, or a willingness to work towards this. Full training will be provided, and we are committed to investing in your career goals in Information Governance.
The post will be based in Chichester; however, travel will be required to other campuses within the Group.
