Supply Chain Assistant

£27,000 - £35,000 DOE
Our client is a bespoke turn-key manufacturer of sustainable products for the construction industry. Due to continuous and stable growth over the past years, they are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Assistant to join the Supply Department. Previously, this role has been fulfilled by the Demand Planner; however, due to an increase in production, this now needs to be a full-time support position.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Working with the Demand Planner and the Supply Chain team (you will have to step in for the Demand Planner when they are on holiday/out of the business)
- Assisting with the Purchasing of materials and sourcing of new materials
- Creating Purchase Orders
- Speaking with clients/suppliers via phone and email
- Looking at purchasing data/production data - analyze trends and look into cost-saving exercises
- Prepare reports for sales presentations/budgets etc.
- Systems used: SAGE, Microsoft Office
Key Skills / Experience Required:
- Use of SAGE or other Procurement systems
- Experience within Supply Chain / Demand planning experience
