You will work in a busy preparation centre working with and alongside a variety of specialist teams. Our Prep Centre processes over a 1600 vehicle's a month and services 8 Stores around the UK. Vehicle Technician - The Person: Full UK driving license. A keen eye for detail and recognising the importance of giving every car in our workshop the highest standard of care. A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to collaborate with team members to overcome challenges and solve problems quickly. A huge passion for learning and keeping up with industry innovations to help you perform at your best. Communication with Worksop Controller/Manager to ensure that quality repairs are carried out on all vehicles. Strong technical background with experience of working as motor vehicle mechanic in similar role. Good communication skills. Ability to carry out repairs efficiently and to a high level of quality. A minimum of NVQ L3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent). A qualified diagnostic technician, preferably multi-brand. Must be fully trained and be able to demonstrate both speed & quality of work. Vehicle Technician - The Duties: Utilising your mechanical knowledge to carry out repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including clutch replacement and cam belt replacement. Effectively and productively repair vehicles from brake pads and tyres to oil and filter checks. Complete minor electrical work as and when required. Vehicle servicing & general maintenance including electrical & vehicle diagnostics. Working against set parameters to inspect the mechanical condition of vehicles. Salary: £42,000 Hours: 47.5 hours a week – 2/4 Saturdays as overtime 7am – 5pm (weekdays) 7am – 12pm (Saturdays)
