Purpose: We are looking for a performance-driven Head of Ecommerce with a focus on trade, experience in building global trading websites, replatforming e-commerce operations, and integration with market places. The role will lead all areas of ecommerce for a fast-growing and dynamic brand with numerous opportunities to innovate. Focus on UX, acquisition, conversion and de-siloing touch points and channels.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver the annual budget revenues and profitability.
* Develop and own a 3-year growth plan with an ROI-driven approach to investment.
* Lead a team responsible for UX, Content Management, Product Upload, SEO, Information Architecture, Online Technical Infrastructure (Platform, Store Fronts, Payment and Logistic systems), Performance, and Functionality.
* Develop, implement, and enhance the global e-commerce strategy of the brand, across channels performance marketing strategy and calendar to be co-owned with marketing.
* Deliver website performance and customer experience to increase engagement and conversion rates; drive revenue and profitability whilst ensuring it is fully aligned with the brand ethos.
* Manage the complete online journey from start to finish, from product selection, campaigns, and product imagery through to packaging, delivery of the product, and customer service.
* Manage autonomously CRM based on merchandising/product focus calendar to target our DB segments complementarily.
* Alongside the Marketing Team, manage the execution of all online marketing initiatives to drive sales and acquisition including: paid search, socials, affiliates, and retargeting. Determine key consumer targets, insights, needs, wants, and behaviours through segmentation, ad strategy, and funnel development.
* Ensure consistency and efficiency of Digital production to deliver imagery in line with the brand position and budgets – working in collaboration with Marketing.
* Lead a team of 2 with the perspective to upskill and build internally the team’s skillset. Liaise with the 3rd party warehouse and our tech partner on a daily basis. Build and own daily to monthly reporting to team members, including directors and leadership.
* Coordinate the e-commerce shootings.
About You
* Shopify Plus and Klaviyo experience essential.
* 4 years + as a Head of Ecommerce or equivalent.
* Must be proficient in Excel, Google Analytics, and Photoshop.
* Experience of replatforming is essential.
* Experience of working with third-party development agencies, warehouses, etc.
* Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
