Title: Receptionist/Administration Assistant in a law firm

We are a small modern law firm located in East Devon. We strive to be different from other local firms by prioritising our caring, compassionate and straightforward service for our clients. We are looking to expand our close-knit and hard-working Private Client team and are searching for the right personality to run our reception and complement our office.

It is important that you can organise, prioritise and cope with flexibility through a changing workday.
The legal sector is highly regulated and complying with the rules and regulations that surround our profession is paramount. Therefore, the ability to pay great attention to detail is crucial.
What does the role entail?
* The day-to-day running of our reception, dealing with client enquiries in person, over the telephone and by email
* Typing
* Filing
* Using case management software training will be given
* Photocopying and scanning
* Proof reading
* Scheduling meetings
* Stationery replenishment
* Other administrative roles as required.
Basic requirements for the role are:
* Confidence and competence using a computer to include the ability to comprehensively use up-to-date versions of Microsoft Word and Outlook
* Good typing skills
* Excellent spelling and grammar
* Good time-keeping
* A good work ethic
* An equally good sense of humour
* Being an organised and tidy worker
* Experience of working in an administrative role would be preferred although we are happy to provide training for the right person.
