National Account Manager (Fresh Produce)
Location: Hertfordshire (Office-based 1 day per week, remote for the remaining days)

We are currently seeking a proactive National Account Manager on behalf of a leading fresh produce company, well-known for supplying premium fruit to top UK retailers. This role offers a flexible working arrangement, with one office-based day per week and the remaining days remote.
Key Responsibilities:
* Account Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of a high-value national account, nurturing and expanding key customer relationships.
* Sales Growth: Drive product sales and volume growth through proactive analysis and customer engagement.
* Pricing Strategy: Develop and maintain a solid understanding of pricing parameters, advising on pricing strategies for optimal profitability.
* Business Planning: Craft and execute tailored business plans, aligned with customer needs and company strategy.
* Promotional Planning: Coordinate promotional activities and manage pricing structures to optimise product offerings.
* Relationship Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring exceptional customer service and smooth communication.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in account management, ideally within the fresh produce or FMCG industry.
* Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
* Proven experience with data analysis, pricing strategy, and customer planning.
* Excellent time management, with the ability to work to critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with data input and system management.
