Job Description:
Smile Education is seeking an experienced Nursery Assistant to join our team starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a group of 10 children, working closely under the direction of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Leader and the Assistant Head.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a group of 10 children aged 3-4.
* Implement and support activities in line with the EYFS curriculum.
* Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for all children.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
* Assist with the planning and preparation of daily activities and learning experiences.
* Monitor and record children's progress and development.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Relevant nursery qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent).
* Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
* Passion for early childhood education and child development.
