We are delighted to share an opportunity for a skilled M aintenance Fitter to join our client and support their operations at their headquarters in Long Marston.
The role
As a key member of the team, you will assist with the maintenance and day-to-day running of all fixed plant and machinery, ensuring maximum equipment reliability and production efficiency.
* £14.93 per hour
* 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
* Rotating shifts, 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm
* Long Marston, Stratford-upon-Avon
Key accountabilities
* Quickly address and assist in correcting plant breakdowns.
* Oversee the repair of plant machinery and maintenance of facilities, tooling, and equipment.
* Identify opportunities to enhance the reliability, efficiency, and performance of site equipment.
* Provide technical assistance to Supervisors in plant operations.
* Ensure plant availability and production are maintained at the highest possible level.
* Adhere to legislation and company standards, including Code of Conduct, Environmental, Health and Safety, and Community policies.
* Perform other duties as required to support the company’s goals.
Skills & experience
* Experience in medium to heavy industry.
* Welding/fabricating experience and qualifications.
* Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent.
* Electrical qualifications (advantageous).
* FLT licence would be advantageous.
