Meon Health Practice JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Assistant Operations Manager Reports to: Operations Manager Accountable to: Managing Director Hours per week Full time (37 hours per week) Pay Band 5 £16.53 per hour ROLE PURPOSE The Assistant Operations Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of Meon Health Practice. The position is responsible for contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the practice and will ensure we offer excellent clinical care, delivered by an engaged and motivated team of professionals working together. Strategic Work with the Operations Manager to ensure the Practice has the strategic and business plan to ensure it is financially successful and sustainable. Ensure that the partnership contracts are viable and optimised to deliver in line with the practice overall plan. Manage the Enhanced Access Service (planning, rotas, and contracts). and contractual targets and identify any saving, business, and efficiency opportunities. Work on service improvement plans with each business area. Develop service protocols and procedures, review and update as required. Operational To deal with complaint investigation and responses effectively and efficiently. To develop your teams culture of patient engagement and participation in QI projects and service design. To manage the patient facing teams and understand and deliver effective patient care. To support the team leads and assistant patient service managers in the supervision and management of staff. To maximise the benefits of digital solution for patients to access directly for both care and administration. Monitor that the Practice complies with NHS contractual obligations in relation to patient care. Work with the Practice teams to standardise core business functions according to the business plan e.g. effective appointment system. Routinely monitor and assess performance against patient access and demand management targets. Any other duties agreed between the employee and the Practice. Maintain continued development by attendance at courses as deemed useful or necessary for professional development. The Organisation may monitor e-mail messages, any files stored on the networks or on equipment and usage of the Internet, NHS.net and computer systems, irrespective of whether these relate to trust or personal use.
