A client of ours in the Chelmsford area are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is a 6-month maternity contract working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm and paying £30,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience. After a successful induction this role will be hybrid, working 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your key duties include but are not limited to:
* Daily transactional processing
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Daily bank reconciliation
* Account analysis
* Business assistance
* Update cash flow
* Month end analysis
* Ad hoc work purchase ledger
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Accounts Assistant position:
* Excellent communication skills as this role will require liaising with suppliers and external offices.
* Experience with accruals and prepayments.
* Experience in working in a fast-paced environment.
