This role will be working in the Construction, Real Estate and Disputes Division (CRED), managing the centralised paralegal resource hub based in the Guildford office as an office-based role, where the team deal with all types of property/property management and construction administration across our three groups, Construction Engineering and Projects, Real Estate and Real Estate Disputes. The role can be on a full or part time basis and with a flexible working pattern to be agreed.

Roles and Responsibilities
* Managing the Hub team, comprising around 11 paralegals carrying out real estate, real estate disputes and construction, engineering and projects (“CRED”) work.
* Being responsible for quality control in the Hub.
* Working with fee earners to provide the most efficient and cost-effective support that the Hub can provide.
* Understanding the needs of the CRED team and setting up structures and processes to enable the Hub to efficiently service that need.
* Identifying and satisfying the training needs of the Hub.
* Reporting to and working with the CRS management team on the Hub’s service delivery and financial performance.
* Providing updates to the business about the Hub and educating the fee earners about the services that the Hub can provide.
* Encouraging fee earners to delegate work to the Hub.
* Developing the skills and breadth of tasks that the Hub undertakes.
* Working with the innovation and tech team to maximise the collaboration between that team and the Hub in order to utilise to greatest effect the tech solutions used by the business.
* Complying with all relevant legal and regulatory obligations including the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Standards and Regulations, and Principles.
Person Specification
* Be an England & Wales qualified solicitor or equivalent with at least 3 years’ PQE and ideally with a Real Estate related background.
* Able to integrate into teams effectively.
* Confidence in both verbal and written communication.
* Demonstrate excellent time management skills and stakeholder management.
* Have the ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels, being able to fit in with the Firm’s culture and the existing team.
