Your Role & Responsibilities As a Bespoke Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing our bespoke engineering and purchasing processes. Your key responsibilities will include: 1. Strategy Deployment & Cross-Functional Coordination Lead the coordination of strategic deployment initiatives across various engineering disciplines, including: Series Liaison – ensuring seamless integration between bespoke and series production. Bespoke Mechanical & Electrical Engineering – collaborating on custom automotive solutions. Release Engineering – supporting product lifecycle and validation processes. Work closely with external supply chain teams, including Purchasing and Supplied Parts Quality, to optimize procurement and supplier collaboration. Foster alignment across cross-functional teams, ensuring strategic initiatives are executed effectively. 2. Continuous Improvement & Digital Transformation Partner with senior stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on efficiency and operational excellence. Implement structured improvement programs and sprint projects, maximizing employee engagement and enhancing team collaboration. Drive digitalisation efforts, identifying and integrating innovative tools and methods to streamline operations and improve decision-making processes. 3. Quality Management & Compliance Oversee and coordinate quality management actions, including: Conducting internal audits and evaluations to maintain compliance with industry and internal standards. Ensuring all processes meet regulatory and quality benchmarks. Champion a culture of quality and accountability across engineering and supply chain teams. 4. Cross-Functional Leadership & Project Steering Influence and guide various operational areas, including: Budget Steering – ensuring financial resources are effectively allocated and managed. Compliance Steering – maintaining adherence to internal and external policies. Facilities & Resource Planning – optimizing infrastructure and workspace utilization. Training & Development – supporting knowledge-sharing and skill enhancement initiatives. Communication & Event Facilitation – planning and executing key engagement activities.
