Title: Sales Advisor / Customer Service Advisor Full Time, Permanent Sales Person Required!
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an established electrical retailers, who are seeking to recruit a pro-active individual in a face-to-face retail sales role.
The successful candidate will have experience of working on a sales floor to offer strong customer service, communication and sales administration skills, along with an ability to build product knowledge and a willingness to take on a level of responsibility when required.
Sales experience and an understanding of Consumer Electronics is desirable, but not essential. The role requires working across both stores in Bromsgrove and Cradley Heath on a rota basis. Basic Salary + commission structure with realistic potential earnings circa £28k upwards, based on 5 days per week to be discussed and agreed but will include working Saturdays. Job Purpose;
To work across both of our branches at Bromsgrove and Cradley Heath to deliver outstanding customer service whilst maximising sales. To continually develop your knowledge so as to contribute towards overall effectiveness and performance levels.
Role and responsibilities; Effective communication of information to the customer / client base involved in receiving our service. Answer customer calls and queries received on various platforms Undertake non-sales activities to support the wider teams sales activities; for example, displays, stock display and quality checks Operate Company bespoke IT system. Taking Payments and cash handling. Obtain good knowledge of company systems, procedures and execute correctly. Have the desire to develop a personal development plan, whilst adhering to company values and principles. Willing to go the extra mile to maintain the highest levels of customer service and professionalism at all times. Essential Skills Excellent customer service skills Ability to build rapport and communicate with customers Basic Microsoft Office including Excel and Word. Ability to obtain and hold product knowledge A proactive team approach on all aspects of the work to tackle problems and offer solutions. Strong time management and organisational skills.
