Express Recruitment are proud to be supporting a local organisation who are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Support Administrator to join their friendly team.
This role provides the ideal “foot in the door” to the Public Sector for any individual with relevant office-based administrative experience either elsewhere in the NHS, local authorities, educational bodies or the private sector. There is a high likelihood of extension beyond the original temporary period.
The ideal candidate will hold experience working with bespoke computer systems and be able to input data with high levels of accuracy.
Responsibilities
* Assist with a range of administrative tasks for the team
* Ensure all confidential records are kept up to date
* Answer telephones, signpost callers and take detailed messages
* Type email correspondence, letters, memos and call information
* Adhere to internal service level agreements and confidentiality procedures
Skills & Experience
* Previous office-based administration experience
* Strong adherence to the Data Protection Act
* Strong IT skills to include full MS Office suite
* Professional and approachable telephone manner
* Able to work well on own initiative
