Marc Daniels are urgently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a large established UK company based in Middlesbrough for a 9-month contract likely to go permanent.
This role will be right for you if you have experience of invoice processing and a looking to join a well-established company offering lots of scope for progression.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all deliveries of materials and services are receipted on Navision.
2. Processing of all incoming purchase invoices, including matching, checking quantities and prices
3. Communication with all departments regarding any invoice queries and to ensure credit notes are received from suppliers when required.
4. Checking and reconciling supplier statements to the purchase ledger
5. Preparing both international and domestic payments to suppliers when due
6. General office duties – maintaining accounts filing system, answering telephone,
Requirements:
7. Confident manipulating numerical data
8. 2 years’ experience in a similar accounts administration position (desirable)
9. Confident IT skills including Excel, Word and Outlook
