Commissioning and Maintenance Engineer
Emergency Lighting
Location: Bristol
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + Company vehicle
My client, a well-established brand within emergency lighting systems, is looking for an experienced lighting Service Engineer based around the M4 corridor. You will be visiting sites throughout the South-Central part of the UK, commissioning and maintaining their own emergency lighting systems in a wide range of locations.
Responsibilities:
1. Commissioning and maintaining emergency lighting systems.
2. Visiting various sites throughout the South-Central UK.
3. Providing technical service and support.
Qualifications:
1. Background as a qualified electrician (City & Guilds 2391 and/or 18th Edition 2382).
2. On-site technical service experience.
3. Experience within lighting maintenance, wired, wireless, and Dali commissioning.
4. Willingness to complete further education while in the role.
You should have the drive to succeed, be both professional and reliable, and want to work for a forward-thinking organisation that values the quality of engineering service over quantity. There will be a good handover period with hands-on training by the incumbent to ensure that you are fully aware of the job role and responsibilities.
A full driving license is essential, and you may be occasionally required to stay away from home.
