Early Years Practitioner - Newham, London
Are you an experienced Early Years Practitioner with a fantastic understanding of the EYFS curriculum and experience with Phonics? A lovely primary school in Newham, London is looking for a Nursery Nurse or Early Years Practitioner to join their successful team to work 32.5 hours a week, term time only.
Position Details:
- Role: Early Years Practitioner
- Location: Newham, London
- Type: Full Time (Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 4pm)
- Salary: £90 - £100 per day
- Contract: Long term contract
- Start Date: ASAP
The ideal candidate would be an effective role model that sets high expectations and motivates the pupils to achieve. Applicants must be enthusiastic and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must have a thorough understanding of the Early Years Framework and experience working in an Early Years Setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and run small group work with a strong understanding of EYFS outcomes.
- Assess children accurately and contribute to their learning journeys.
- Work collaboratively within a team to provide a stimulating learning environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant Early Years Childcare qualification, minimum Level 2.
- Experience working with young children in Nursery and Reception.
- Commitment to high expectations to meet the needs of all children.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum and understanding of Key Stage 1 Curriculum.
