What you’ll be doing:
1. Leading & managing an engineering team to deliver the functional design and definition of Electrical Power Systems equipment.
2. Managing the processes and reviews of technical documentation.
3. Managing associated technical risks, assumptions and dependencies.
4. Providing advice on electrical power technical aspects across a broad range of engineering disciplines.
5. Engaging with customers and suppliers to provide solutions to complex problems.
6. Taking a leading role by guiding the team through the systems definition process.
7. Providing leadership and mentoring of more junior team members to ensure the necessary capability and skills development.
Your skills and experiences:
1. Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Engineering background.
2. Engineering Chartership required (or equivalent experience demonstrated).
3. Significant knowledge of AC and DC electrical power systems.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Team Leadership experience.
