Start date: 6th August 2025 for a period of 12 months
We require enthusiastic, motivated, and innovative individuals to work with us in the Emergency Department in the stunning county of Cornwall. These exciting 12-month posts offer an 80:20 split of Clinical/Fellow time with an opportunity to increase your experience in Emergency Medicine, as well as allowing personal development. These opportunities are the ideal step up to an Emergency Medicine Specialty Doctor position or a Core or Higher training application.
Your eight hours of non-clinical time each week would enable you to attend our dedicated weekly EM training programme incorporating in-situ simulation training, USS masterclasses and up-to-date guideline presentations in addition to developing your own skills and interests within the field of Emergency Medicine. Our previous fellows have had interests in Major Trauma, Simulation, Education, Quality Improvement, Mental health, Ultrasound and PHEM.
In addition to this prioritisation of your individual development we offer funding for the completion of ATLS, ALS and APLS (or equivalent/appropriate courses) during your 12-month post.
Applicants are required to be GMC registered and must have worked in the NHS.
Applications are welcomed from those unable to work full time for personal reasons or those wishing to job-share.
