As a newly created team of five, we aim to design a smart approach for smart building infrastructure, planning, constructing, and maintaining our network infrastructure prioritized at the same level as other systems and utilities through technology enablement programmes. Establishing industrial standards and best practices, areas to cover include: Edge data Centers, power & energy, sustainability, and testing processes such as Tier-1 and Tier-2 testing from ANSI/TIA-526-14, IEC 61280-4-1, IETIA-568.3-E requirements. We focus on cabling configuration, test methods, and test reference cords, ensuring life & property safety, health & safety, and well-being of staff support.
Our specific focus is on indoor networks and the best approach for connectivity within operational facilities to accomplish our goals. We aim to design a criteria to reintegrate existing infrastructure into a highly capable network. Connected industrial and military systems require different specific data communications patterns, including real-time command and control, live streaming sensor data, and large amounts of data for analytics. Data distribution should be well suited for all communication patterns as specified by service policies.
