The Copthorne Hotel Newcastle is seeking an Assistant F&B Manager to work closely with the Food and Beverage Operations Manager to ensure a high standard of customer care is maintained at all times, both in the service and the team.
As Assistant F&B Manager your Key Responsibilities Include:
* Maintain the agreed standard of service and cleanliness set by the Food and Beverage Department.
* Be responsible for the float, cash transactions, up-selling during the shift.
* To work closely with the F&B Manager and the Kitchen team to promote positive relationships between the Kitchen and F&B team, dealing with any issues effectively.
* To work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to ensure that all outlets are operating efficiently at all times.
* Toensure that outstandingcustomers service is offered to our guests at all service points, both from an individual and management perspective.
* To attend any meetings and deputise for the F&B Manager as required.
* Participating in the Duty Manager rota as required.
What we are looking for:
* People management experience, particularly within the Food and Beverage industry.
* Outstanding customer service skills.
* Good organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure and maintain aprofessional approach.
* The ability to work as part of a team.
* Experience working with payments.
* Experience of Micros computer system.
Flexible to cover early mornings, late nights and weekend shifts.
