About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Senior Executive, Brand Strategy and Planning to cover months maternity leave. Working within the Brand Team and closely with teams across the club, in this role you will be responsible for supporting the application and adoption of the LFC brand framework and visual identity across club functions, channels and 3rd parties, ensuring the consistency, integrity, and effective representation of the Clubs brand across all touchpoints.
Key activities – what will you be doing?
1. Support the overall application and adoption of the LFC brand framework and visual identity within the Brand Team.
2. Collaborate with departments across the club, providing brand solutions and recommendations, acting as brand sign-off, and understanding stakeholder needs.
3. Manage and maintain Club, Partner, and 3rd party LFC brand guidelines and toolkits; organize brand assets and ensure accessibility.
4. Lead brand onboarding for third-party media relationships, conducting induction sessions and providing assets.
5. Integrate Federation and Association Brand Guidelines into club activities, acting as the point of contact for brand queries and sign-off.
6. Work with design teams and external agencies on visual branding elements like logos, colors, typography, and imagery.
7. Conduct brand audits and implement processes to track and manage brand assets.
8. Support internal application of the LFC brand framework, collaborating with HR on Employee Brand Strategy.
9. Assist with graphic installations at Anfield Stadium and other LFC locations, engaging fans and visitors in storytelling.
10. Support the implementation of new brand elements and guidelines, including tone of voice and personality.
11. Handle third-party IP queries in coordination with the Brand and Legal teams.
Who are we looking for?
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Proven experience in brand marketing or branding roles, either agency or in-house.
* Experience managing brand frameworks across integrated campaigns, online and offline.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
* Experience creating design briefs and working with design teams.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.
* Project management capabilities to deliver successful outcomes.
* Attention to detail, organization, and planning skills.
* Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms.
* Project management skills for brand initiatives.
* A proactive, 'can do' attitude.
* Team player with a drive to succeed.
Technical skills required include:
* Experience in brand management, especially brand frameworks and guidelines.
* Understanding of design principles, visual identity, and brand strategy.
* Knowledge of brand measurement and research programs.
* Budget management knowledge.
* Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint for brand alignment presentations.
