About the role Title – Security Administrator Pay Rate – £13.00- £13.50 Location – Hull Shift Timings – Full time The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the security and emergency response requirements of the client whilst maintaining an excellent corporate image and high standards through adherence to directions from the Security Management team. Your main responsibilities may include: Maintain a polite, courteous and friendly manner towards the public, the client, visitors and all Chemicals Park Partners. Managing and escalating any reported faults, damage onsite and other rerquests through continual monitoring of the client portal system. Investigate unusual occurrences. To remain alert and vigilant to activity onsite to ensure risks are minimised through prompt action and escalation to the Security Manager/Supervisor and SSM. Compliance with the Dawn Raid procedure. Report suspicious persons, vehicles, items or activities immediately to the Security Manager/Supervisor and SSM. To remain fully conversant with all Sodexo documentation, including but not restricted to Assignment Instruction, Site Operating Procedures, Health & Safety Briefings and Risk Assessments. To provide guidance and training to other Administrator personnel. To ensure all amendments to site procedures are understood and adhered to. To wear appropriate PPE and Sodexo/client uniform only. Other Site Specific requirements as directed by the Security Manager. Administration To provide card issue, card management and access onto site for all Chemicals Park Partners in line with SSO 104. To be fully conversant with the onsite security systems (C cure) ensuring data entry is accurate following the company list provided. Monitoring the Security VN inbox and managing all incoming requests. Ensure all visitors/contractors are aware of site procedures and fully aware of destination point. Provision of maps if unescorted. To deal with telephone/switchboard enquiries. All postal responsibilities, including sorting, delivery and opening if necessary. Adding any outgoing mail costs to the spreadsheet. Managing and escalating any reported faults, damage onsite and other requests through continual monitoring of the client portal system. Compliance with Laundry APP usage and procedures Ensure all PPE requests are actioned and the PPE Spreadsheet is updated. Outstanding non-returned PPE is chased up with the individual/sponsor on a weekly basis. All Visitor PPE to be checked on return and laundered if necessary. Ensure both garment and personnel lockers are issued as per locker management procedure and allocation sheets are updated. Ensure IMT checks are carried out on a weekly basis. All stationery orders are to be distributed to the relevant stationary cupboards and to ensure cupboards are tidy at all times. Px stationery orders to be completed monthly. Ensure all stationary forms and a copy of the order is filed. Check all meeting room bookings daily to ensure the room is open, equipment is available and the rooms are tidy. Ensure wi-fi devices are charged. Ensure all paper records are updated and accurate. Ensure break times (Sodexo do NOT provide smoke breaks) are managed to ensure the effectiveness of contract delivery is not compromised. Attend any job development training courses in pursuit of contract development, to achieve the maximum standard required by Sodexo. Other Site Specific requirements as directed by the Security Manager/VR1 Supervisor. Health & Safety Reporting immediately to the Security Manager/Supervisor and SSM any action or inaction which compromises safety. Maintain a healthy and safe place of work, ensuring all posts are in a clean and tidy condition at all times. Report missing, damaged or unserviceable equipment to the Security manager/Supervisor. To fully cooperate with Sodexo and the client to allow both companies to carry out its statutory duty under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and all associated statutory provisions. To succeed in this role, you will need the following: SIA License. 5-year checkable work/career history. Experience in a similar role, would an advantage Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
