Job Description
Our company is a global health care leader with a diversified portfolio of prescription medicines, vaccines, and animal health products. Our Milton Keynes facility is part of our Manufacturing Division and is a key contributor to the manufacturing of animal health products.
We currently have multiple Technician opportunities within our Animal Health Production area. This role within our production facility involves producing antigens derived from large-scale anaerobic fermentations. After concentration and purification, antigens are blended as the active ingredient in our pig, cattle, sheep, or chicken vaccines.
Responsibilities:
* Perform Direct and Indirect activities associated with the manufacture of antigen per the Production Schedule and in accordance with local Regulatory and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.
* Prepare, use, and maintain a variety of mechanical or laboratory equipment - isolators, vessels, filtration equipment.
* Follow standard operating procedures and ensure Good Documentation Practices.
* Participate in Site Tier Process.
* Apply MPS tools and methodology to lead and support investigations and Corrective & Preventative Action (CAPA) implementation.
* Participate in company-sponsored training and events.
* Model Safe by Choice and Inclusive Behaviors.
Qualifications/Skills:
* A levels (or equivalent) in Science-based subjects.
* Experience using SAP.
* Experience working in a manufacturing-related environment.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to follow approved documentation practices.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Basic computer skills (Word/Outlook/Excel).
* Follow Standard Operating Procedures.
