Campus Designated Safeguarding Lead Location: Multi-site Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year Contract: Permanent Salary: Up to £29,500 per annum (Subject to experience) Reporting To: Head of Safeguarding IN SHORT We are reviewing our Safeguarding structure to ensure that it remains responsive and meets the needs of the college community. As part of this we are introducing Campus based Designated Safeguarding Leads who will report to the Head of Safeguarding. The Wellbeing and Safeguarding teams are committed to ensuring that our students have the best opportunity to engage and succeed in their learning, their safety and sense of belonging is key to this. The Campus Designated Safeguarding Lead will work closely with the Campus Managers and the wider Safeguarding and Wellbeing Teams. The main function of this role is to ensure that safeguarding incidents are addressed and followed up appropriately, reporting directly to the Head of Safeguarding and holding the responsibility of a Deputy Safeguarding Lead for a specific campus.
