We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Healthcare & Specification Manager to join our team in the Southeast region as maternity cover. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and specifications of our healthcare flooring and wall protection solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of the healthcare sector, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Base and geographical area: You will be based at home with approximately 80% travel throughout the Southeast of the UK. The role : Reporting to the Head of Regional Sales - South, you will focus on driving sales growth, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring that our products are specified in major projects across various sectors. Main responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets and grow market share in the healthcare sector. Identify and engage with key decision-makers, including architects, specifiers, contractors, and end-users. Provide technical support and product knowledge to clients, ensuring they select the best solutions for their projects. Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of Gradus and Gerflor products. Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the healthcare sector. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry developments. Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our products. Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, market conditions, and customer feedback. About you This role is suited to an experienced sales professional with a successful track record; it would be an advantage to have existing contacts and experience within building products. You’ll be confident in proposing and delivering strong practical innovative business plans and have a collaborative approach to motivate others but within a largely autonomous role. Key requirements Proven experience in a sales or specification role within the healthcare sector. Strong knowledge of flooring and wall protection solutions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Southeast region.
