Are you looking for a part time summer job ? Our energetic kitchen team are looking for experienced assistant chefs to join the team for our busy summer 2025 season. Our kitchen provides three meals a day to our residential customers staying on site, your role would be supporting the chefs in our 5 star rated kitchen to enable that to happen. We are a fun friendly team, the job would be ideal for someone training to be a chef or have some chef experience.
Hours - 7am to 2pm or 3pm-8pm, including weekends 3- 5 days a week
Duties include
Organising and stock rotation of deliveries, dry stores, freezers and fridges.
Food preparation, cooking and assisting in delivery of food service to residents.
Daily health and safety checks in all food areas
Regular cleaning of equipment and area to maintain our 5 star hygiene rating.
Loading and unloading items round the site.
Joining in with team to provide an excellent customer experience.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Cooking experience essential in a similar environment
Level 2 food hygiene certificate ( part of your induction)
Allergen knowledge essential - all staff take an allergy awareness course.
GCSE Maths and English
Good level of spoken English and understanding.
Hardworking and energetic
Able to be proactive in the role.
Punctual time keeper.
