Job Description:
We relocated into a purpose-built brand-new state of the art dental practice on London Road, Southend, Essex in December 2022. Our practice has 18 treatment rooms, two decontamination rooms, consultation rooms, and a private dental suite spread across two floors. Staff facilities include a private staff-only comfort area comprising changing and locker rooms, toilets, and dining and kitchen facilities.
Our spacious and modern practice offers all aspects of NHS and Private dental treatments including Invisalign and Dental Implants. We are fully digital and paperless.
We have a wonderful team of professionals and have been serving our community for decades.
We are looking for a professional, friendly, and experienced Practice Manager to join our team as soon as possible.
The position is Full Time, Monday to Friday (no weekends), with hours ranging from 40-43 hours per week.
Salary: Depending on experience from £35K-£45K
Start Date: Immediate/ASAP
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have a background in managing teams within a dental environment. This role is vital in ensuring the practice runs smoothly, providing excellent patient care while also managing financial and human resources effectively.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage all administrative functions of the dental practice, ensuring efficient workflow.
* Oversee human resources tasks, including recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
* Monitor financial management to maintain profitability and budget adherence.
* Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards, maintaining a safe environment for both patients and staff.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
* Coordinate with dental professionals to optimise patient scheduling and treatment plans.
Experience:
* Previous experience in dental practice management is essential.
* Proven track record in supervising teams and managing operational processes effectively.
* Strong understanding of human resources practices, including employee relations and compliance.
* Experience in UDA management.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and patients.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills.
