We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced School Facilities Manager to join our new Ashford cluster. We are seeking a proactive and resourceful individual to manage day-to-day site operations as well as maintaining a strategic overview of the school estate. A good working knowledge of health and safety and statutory compliance is required. Experience of working in an education setting and running a fully carbon neutral building are highly desirable, along with previous involvement in building handover processes.
As the job covers multiple sites, it is key that the Cluster Facilities Manager can work in a ‘stand-alone’ capacity, with excellent organisational and time management skills. Travel between the schools in Ashford and Wye is required to meet the needs of the role. The ideal candidate will have BIFM membership along with IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications.
