We’re looking for a motivated and friendly team member to join us in a dynamic role that offers plenty of variety and the chance to grow. Here’s a little more about what you’ll be doing:
1. Serving customers on the till and helping with any queries the customer or team may have.
2. Working with all deliveries that arrive at the site and complying with food safety laws when doing so.
3. Using office tools to scan in deliveries, invoices, wasting stock, and scanning for new SELs.
4. Ensuring the shop, forecourt, and back areas are kept clean and comply with health and safety laws.
5. Being fully involved in our promotion change process – this may include clearing promotion ends of old stock, following a planogram for the new promotions in store, supporting with new POS and SELs required, and keeping to our strict timescale.
6. Cash handling while serving customers and cashing up tills from shifts.
7. Following instructions from your managers and in their absence, from the Peregrine Retail senior team, and being able to ask questions if you are unsure.
8. This is a fast-paced moving business, so excellent time management skills are a must!
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Fantastic communication skills both with senior management and the team within the store.
2. A can-do attitude.
3. A keen eye for detail.
4. A passion for great customer service.
5. Knowledge of what good looks like in a retail store.
6. Ability to stick to tight timescales.
7. Ability to manage and guide a team.
8. Supervisor experience is preferred; however, full training is provided.

Pay: £12.00 per hour
