We are looking for a flexible, highly effective, efficient and organised Attendance Officer to work within our wider pastoral team, reporting to the Deputy Headteacher.
The pastoral team at Trinity are passionate about encouraging our young people to fulfil their potential and feel their worth; they are central to ensuring the success of our students through developing relationships and providing support, intervention and guidance.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Monitor the taking of registers lesson by lesson.
2. Record student absences and late arrivals on SIMS.
3. Provide the Deputy Headteacher with weekly updates on attendance for the whole school.
4. Act as an initial point of contact for parents/carers.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Previous office administrative experience is essential, preferably within a school environment.
2. Demonstrate a good knowledge of safeguarding requirements for working with children.
