Full time Office Administrator
Location: Brighton
Office based role
Hours: 9-5.30pm Monday to Friday
Starting salary: £27000
If you are looking for a busy Administration support role based in a regional Brighton office each day, this is the job for you! The role will be to perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities. You will be a key member of the Brighton team ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Support: Typing of correspondence, reports, minutes, answering and filtering calls, preparing photo schedules, contract documents, updating spreadsheets, organising and storing documents electronically, maintaining contact lists.
2. Project support: Making outbound telephone calls to book appointments for the surveying team and answering resident queries.
3. Data entry: Updating records and databases.
4. Diary Management: Ensuring Outlook calendars are up to-date.
5. Health & Safety: Conduct a weekly visual electrical inspection.
6. Bookkeeping: Sub-consultant invoice approval process, oversee petty cash.
7. Office Supplies: Managing inventory of office supplies, including stationery and multimedia equipment to ensure smooth office operations.
8. Suppliers: Oversee third party contractors for the office including cleaners and electricians.
9. Quality Assurance: Amending and formatting documents whilst undertaking quality checks to ensure that all documentation is consistent, up-to-date and complies with the Practice administrative standards and style guide.
Key Skills
1. Proficient with Microsoft suite
2. Presentable and articulate communicator
3. Previous administration and customer service experience
4. Ability to work under own initiative
5. High attention to detail
