Job Description Grade 1 Purpose: To undertake basic work, performing routine duties in accordance with detailed procedures and instructions. Entry Criteria: New starters with no experience (either direct with Herman Miller or via our partner agency). Basic understanding of numeracy and literacy is expected. Training on processes will be provided. Responsibilities & Job Duties: Able to work in a primary area with supervision and training Operating simple machinery or equipment in accordance with instructions Carrying out routine assembly tasks Carrying out routine manual tasks Providing parts for assembly Delivering a quality product to the next step in the process Completing tasks safely and to agreed quality standards within Takt time Passing on details of completed work Expected Behaviours in all areas: Readily accepts new tasks and direction Undertakes minor problem solving within remit of work duties Identifies and draws attention to non-standard problems and issues Works well with colleagues Demonstrates good team working skills Always achieves a good level of output Demonstrates a high standard of housekeeping Makes effective use of time and demonstrates good timekeeping Does not take excessive breaks Always shows respect to colleagues at all levels, including peers and management Who We Hire?
