Credit Controller – About The Role
In this role, you will be reporting into the Finance Manager and will be working alongside 1 other Credit Controller. You will need to have a proactive and organised approach as you will be managing the collection process of over 1000 live accounts. Your key responsibilities will be:
* Allocating and processing daily payments, responsible for submitting daily reports.
* Managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring payments are received, monitoring balances and managing debt recovery.
* Prioritising those accounts who require further collective activities and planning accordingly.
* Ensuring all outstanding queries are flagged accordingly and the relevant departments are made aware.
* Assist with daily receipts posting and identification of bank transactions.
* Attend and prepare for monthly debtor meetings.
* Evaluating and improving procedures to ensure maximum efficiency within the function.
* Carrying out all work practices in line with company policies.
The successful Credit Controller will have:
* Previous experience in a similar position.
* 5+ years’ experience in Credit Control
* Excellent customer service
* A determined and strong work ethic
* Ability to communicate at all levels
